Taro Omiya is a prolific indie game designer at his company, Omiya Games, with over 30 games published on PC, mobile, and web. His experimental projects, many of them open-source on GitHub, have received over 850,000 views and downloads thanks to critical acclaim and media coverage.
He has over a decade of professional game development experience, both in the indie and AAA space. He specializes in game feel and puzzle design, while his other talent lies in programming. Game engines he has worked in besides Unity includes Unreal, Godot, Construct 3, Ren’py, and GDevelop. Lastly, he’s fluent in English and Japanese.
